IPL: David Warner stars with the bat as Sunrisers Hyderabad claim dominating win against Kolkata Knight Riders

David Warner scored 126 off just 59 balls as Sunrisers Hyderabad claimed a dominating win over Kolkata Knight Riders. Warner, opening for Sunrisers, hit more than half of Hyderabad’s 209 total, with Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson also doing well with the bat. KKR were posed a real challenge to complete the chase, and ended over 40 runs short, managing 161/7 in a rain-affected innings. Sunrisers have now won six straight matches in Hyderabad – and sit just one point behind the top two. – TalkSport

LaLiga: Celta de Vigo 0-3 Athletic Club: Hosts beaten ahead of Manchester United clash

Raul Garcia scored a brace as Athletic Club beat Celta de Vigo 3-0 just days before Celticos take on Manchester United in the Europa League. Garcia scored 10 minutes before half-time, and added a second five minutes after the restart to double the lead. Mikel Rico smashed a close range finish home to secure the win in the final 10 minutes, moving Athletic back into the top six. Celta remain in 11th, and know they will host the Red Devils on Thursday on the back of a home defeat. – TalkSport

North London derby: Frank McLintock reveals story about confrontation with angry Tottenham fan

Former Arsenal captain Frank McLintock has revealed what his relationship with Tottenham fans is like ahead of the final north London derby at the current White Hart Lane. McLintock, who played for the Gunners between 1964 and 1973, played at the Lane when Arsenal were crowned champions there in 1971, but says he is always treated well when he returns, with the Spurs faithful shaking his hand, much to his surprise. They even had his back when he found himself in an angry confrontation with one of their own. – TalkSport
